At Dropsolid, we are building the future of open digital experiences powered by AI. Our mission is to create ethical, sovereign and open-source-driven solutions that empower public institutions and organizations across Europe. We specialize in platforms like Drupal, Mautic, and Apache Unomi and we are now expanding our team to support major European public sector tenders.
You’ll join our international team as a Java/React developer, supporting us in building secure scalable and open digital platforms. You will:
Develop and maintain backend services in Java (Spring Boot, REST APIs)
Build clean, responsive and accessible frontends using ReactJS
Work on federal open-source architectures (e.g. integrating with Drupal or Mautic-based platforms)
Support tender-based delivery for EU institutions
Collaborate with UX designers, architects and devops engineers
Contribute to open-source initiatives where possible
Job requirements
Your Profile
3+ years of professional experience in Java (Spring Boot)
2+ years of experience with ReactJS and frontend tooling (Webpack, Redux, etc.)
Comfortable working with REST APIs and microservices
Experience with Git, CI/CD, and containerized environments (Docker/K8s is a plus)
Interest in open-source development and ethical tech
Fluent in English (B2 or higher)
EU work permit required
Nice to Have
Experience with Drupal, Mautic or other open CMS/marketing platforms
Familiarity with public sector delivery standards or EU projects
Portuguese or Spanish language skills
Located near Bilbao, Madrid, Lisbon or Porto (not mandatory)
