Your responsibilities:
As a Legal & Finance Officer, you will be the legal cornerstone of Dropsolid. You will safeguard our business interests and ensure all legal aspects are in order. Specifically, your tasks will include:
1. Legal (65%)
Contract Management: You draft and review (framework) agreements, NDAs, and other contracts, and negotiate with clients and partners.
Compliance & Risk: You stay up-to-date with relevant laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR) and implement the necessary processes and policies to keep Dropsolid compliant. A DPO certification is a plus. If you do not yet have the certification, we offer the opportunity to complete the training.
Corporate Governance: You develop policy documents, provide legal advice to management, and get involved in potential disputes.
2. Finance (20%)
Collaboration with Finance Controller: You work closely with Kaat, our Finance Controller, to manage and optimize our financial processes.
Budget & Invoicing: You assist in managing budgets, invoicing, and accounts receivable/payable.
Backup: Together with Kaat, you form a tandem, ensuring you can cover each other’s responsibilities when needed.
3. Administration (15%)
Supporting the co-CEOs: You ensure a smooth handling of various operational and administrative matters to support our co-CEOs, in both legal and financial are
Job requirements
You have an education in Law (or equivalent experience) and some affinity with finance.
You have experience with contract law, compliance, and corporate governance.
You are comfortable working with numbers.
You are analytically strong, proactive, and can work independently, yet you are also a true team player.
You communicate clearly and professionally in both Dutch and English.
